Missing words, even in German... Graeme, all your friends would be happy to give at least some time of their own lifetime in exchange for one additional hour or two for your family to spend with you lost daughter. But this is not possible. I never had the chance to meet her. But I would ask you to do me a favor: when we meet next time, please tell me all the stories about her and her life. Stories, we, being parents of beloved ones, have always in mind. Please, help me to share a part of her life and a part of your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family and with Katherine, of course!

Happy 31st birthday, sweetheart. The eighth birthday we haven’t been able to share with you but it’s no any easier than the first.
So many things and new memories that should have been made missed out on Katherine, it’s just so unfair.
We miss you desperately, sweetheart, every single second of every single day, and always will. Your beautiful face, your beaming smile, your contagious laughter, your loving and caring nature, your big, warm Katherine hugs, our girlie times spent together and so, so much more that miss l want back.
